12 And when thy days shall be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.

13 He shall build a house to my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

14 I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son.

16 And thy house shall be faithful, and thy kingdom for ever before thy face, and thy throne shall be firm for ever.

संत योसेफ, धन्य कुँवारी मरियम का दुल्हा - समारोह

पहला पाठ : 2 समुएल 7:4-5अ, 12-14अ, 16

4) उसी रात प्रभु की वाणी नातान को यह कहते हुए सुनाई पड़ी,

5) "मेरे सेवक दाऊद के पास जाकर कहो - प्रभु यह कहता है:

12) जब तुम्हारे दिन पूरे हो जायेंगे और तुम अपने पूर्वजों के साथ विश्राम करोगे, तो मैं तुम्हारे पुत्र को तुम्हारा उत्तराधिकारी बनाऊँगा और उसका राज्य बनाये रखूँगा।

13) वही मेरे आदर में एक मन्दिर बनवायेगा और मैं उसका सिंहासन सदा के लिए सुदृढ़ बना दूँगा।

14) मैं उसका पिता होऊँगा, और वह मेरा पुत्र होगा।

16) इस तरह तुम्हारा वंश और तुम्हारा राज्य मेरे सामने बना रहेगा और उसका सिंहासन अनन्त काल तक सुदृढ़ रहेगा।"

दूसरा पाठ : रोमियों 4:13, 16-18,22

13) ईश्वर ने इब्राहीम और उनके वंश से प्रतिज्ञा की कि वे पृथ्वी के उत्तराधिकारी होंगे। यह इसलिए नहीं हुआ कि इब्राहीम ने संहिता का पालन किया, बल्कि इसलिए कि उन्होंने विश्वास किया और ईश्वर ने उन्हें धार्मिक माना है।

16) सब कुछ विश्वास पर और इसलिए कृपा पर भी, निर्भर रहता है। वह प्रतिज्ञा न केवल उन लोगों पर, जो संहिता का पालन करते हैं, बल्कि समस्त वंश पर लागू होती है- उन सबों पर, जो इब्राहीम की तरह विश्वास करते हैं।

17) इब्राहीम हम सबों के पिता हैं। जैसा कि लिखा है-मैंने तुम को बहुत-से राष्ट्रों का पिता नियुक्त किया है। ईश्वर की दृष्टि में इब्राहीम हमारे पिता हैं। उन्होंने उस ईश्वर में विश्वास किया, जो मृतकों को पुनर्जीवित करता है और जो नहीं है, उसे भी अस्तित्व में लाता है।

18) इब्राहीम ने निराशाजनक परिस्थिति में भी आशा रख कर विश्वास किया और वह बहुत-से राष्ट्रों के पिता बन गये, जैसा कि उन से कहा गया था- तुम्हारे असंख्य वंशज होंगे।

22) इस विश्वास के कारण ईश्वर ने उन्हें धार्मिक माना है।

सुसमाचार : सन्त मत्ती 1:16, 18-21, 24अ

(16) याकूब से मरियम का पति यूसुफ़़, और मरियम से ईसा उत्पन्न हुए, जो मसीह कहलाते हैं।

(18) ईसा मसीह का जन्म इस प्रकार हुआ। उनकी माता मरियम की मँगनी यूसुफ से हुई थी, परंतु ऐसा हुआ कि उनके एक साथ रहने से पहले ही मरियम पवित्र आत्मा से गर्भवती हो गयी।

(19) उसका पति यूसुफ चुपके से उसका परित्याग करने की सोच रहा था, क्योंकि वह धर्मी था और मरियम को बदनाम नहीं करना चाहता था।

(20) वह इस पर विचार कर ही रहा था कि उसे स्वप्न में प्रभु का दूत यह कहते दिखाई दिया, ’’यूसुफ! दाऊद की संतान! अपनी पत्नी मरियम को अपने यहाँ लाने में नहीं डरे,क्योंकि उनके जो गर्भ है, वह पवित्र आत्मा से है।

(21) वे पुत्र प्रसव करेंगी और आप उसका नाम ईसा रखेंगें, क्योंकि वे अपने लोगों को उनके पापों से मुक्त करेगा।’’

(24) यूसुफ नींद से उठ कर प्रभु के दूत की आज्ञानुसार अपनी पत्नी को अपने यहाँ ले आया।

📚 मनन-चिंतन

आज हम संत यूसफ का पर्व मना रहे है। संत यूसफ प्रभु येसु का पालक पिता है। धर्मग्रथ के अनुसार मत्ती 1:19 संत यूसफ का सबसे बडा गुण यह है कि वह धर्मि था। धर्मि का मतलब क्या है? लूकस 1:6 वचन कहता है कि योहन बपतिस्ता का माता पिता दोनो ईश्वर की दृष्टि में धार्मिक थे-वे पुभु की सब आज्ञाओं और नियमों का निर्दोष अनुसरण करते थे। संत यूसफ ने अपने जीवन में हमेंशा ईश्वर को प्रथम स्थान देते हुए ईश्वर की आज्ञाओं के अनुसार जीवन बिताया है। उदाहरण केलिए- जब संत यूसफ माता मरियम को बदनाम न करते हुए परित्याग करने की सोच रहा था, तब स्वप्न में ईश्वर के दूत ने उनको जो कहा उसके अनुसार वे माता मरियम को अपनी पत्नि के रूप में स्वीकार करते है।

जीवन में धर्मि बनना सबसे मुख्य बात है। इसलिए येसु संत मत्ती के सुसमाचार 6:25से कहते है तुम क्या खाये क्या पिये क्या पहने इसकी चिन्ता न करें। बल्कि तुम सब से पहले ईश्वर के राज्य और उसकी धार्मिकता की खोज में लगे रहो और ये सब चीजें़ तुम्हें यों ही मिल जायेंगी। संत लूकस 1:75 वचन कहता है ईश्वर की सेवा पवित्रता और धार्मिकता से करना है। और प्रज्ञा ग्रथ 9:3 में कहते है कि विश्व की सेवा हमें औचित्य और धार्मिकता से करना है। एफेसियों 4:24 में वचन कहता है कि जो मनुष्य धार्मिक है उनका स्वभाव ईश्वर के स्वभाव के अनुसार होता है।

ईश्वर से हम निरंतर प्रार्थना करें कि धार्मिकता का द्वार हमारे लिए खोल दीजिए ताकी हम उस में प्रवेश कर प्रभु को धन्यवाद कर सके। संत मत्ति के सुसमाचार 5:6 में वचन कहता है धन्य है वे, जो धार्मिकता के भूखे और प्यासे हैं, वे तृप्त किये जायेंगे। आईए हम धर्मि संत यूसफ के मध्यस्तता की शरण ले क्योंकि संत अवीला के संत तेरेसा कहती है कि मघ्यस्थता के लिए आप लोग संत युसुफ के पास जाये क्योंकि उनको ईश्वर पर प्रभाव है। वचन कहता है याकूब 5:16 धर्मात्मा की भक्तिमय प्रार्थना बहुत प्रभावशाली होती है।

📚 REFLECTION

Today we are celebrating the feast of St. Joseph. He is the foster father of Jesus. According to the Word of God Mat 1:19 Joseph was a righteous man. What does it mean to be righteous? We have the answer in Lk 1:6 the parents of St. John the Baptist were righteous before Gods, living blamelessly according to all the commandments and regulations of the Lord. Which means St. Joseph gave most important place for God in his life therefore he obeyed all that God asked of him. For example St. Joseph had planned the get rid of Mary quietly. But when the angel of the Lord said to him in a dream to take Mary as his wife, he obeys. He gives up his plan and takes up God’s plan.

What is the most important thing in life is to become a righteous man. Therefore in the Gospel of Mt 6:25 following that don’t worry about what you will eat, what you will wear and so on but strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. Lk 1:75 says that we should serve God in holiness and righteousness. In eph 4:24 says the person who is righteous is having the image of God.

Like the Psalmist 118:19 lets also pray to God that Lord open to me the gates of righteousness so that we may enter and give thanks to you. In Mat 5:6 says blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness their will be filled. Let’s come to St. Joseph and ask him to help us to be righteous in our lives. St. Teresa of Avila says though you have recourse to many saints as your intercessors, go especially to St. Joseph, for he has great power with God. The word of God says in James 5:16 the prayer of the righteous is very powerful.

7 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Go, get thee down: thy people, which thou hast brought out of the land of Egypt, hath sinned.

8 They have quickly strayed from the way which thou didst shew them: and they have made to themselves a molten calf, and have adored it, and sacrificing victims to it, have said: These are thy gods, O Israel, that have brought thee out of the land of Egypt.

9 And again the Lord said to Moses: See that this people is stiffnecked:

10 Let me alone, that my wrath may be kindled against them, and that I may destroy them, and I will make of thee a great nation.

11 But Moses besought the Lord his God, saying: Why, O Lord, is thy indignation kindled against thy people, whom thou hast brought out of the land of Egypt, with great power, and with a mighty hand?

12 Let not the Egyptians say, I beseech thee: He craftily brought them out, that he might kill them in the mountains, and destroy them from the earth: let thy anger cease, and be appeased upon the wickedness of thy people.

पहला पाठ : निर्गमन 32:7-14

7) प्रभु ने मूसा से कहा, ''पर्वत से उतरो, क्योंकि तुम्हारी प्रजा, जिसे तुम मिस्र से निकाल लाये हो, भटक गयी है।

8) उन लोगों ने शीघ्र ही मेरा बताया हुआ मार्ग छोड़ दिया। उन्होंने अपने लिए ढली हुई धातु का बछड़ा बना कर उसे दण्डवत किया और बलि चढ़ा कर कहा, ''इस्राएल; यही तुम्हारा देवता है। यही तुम्हें मिस्र से निकाल लाया।''

9) प्रभु ने मूसा से कहा, ''मैं देख रहा हूँ कि ये लोग कितने हठधर्मी हैं।

10) मुझे इनका नाश करने दो। मेरा क्रोध भड़क उठेगा और इनका सर्वनाश करेगा। तब मैं तुम्हारे द्वारा एक महान् राष्ट्र उत्पन्न करूँगा।''

11) मूसा ने अपने प्रभु-ईश्वर का क्रोध शान्त करने के उद्देश्य से कहा, ''प्रभु; यह तेरी प्रजा है, जिसे तू सामर्थ्य तथा भुजबल से मिस्र से निकाल लाया। इस पर तू कैसे क्रोध कर सकता है?

12) मिस्रियों को यह कहने का अवसर क्यों मिले कि बुरे उद्देश्य से वह उन्हें निकाल लाया जिससे वह उन्हें पर्वतों के बीच मार डाले और पृथ्वी पर से मिटा दे? अपनी क्रोधाग्नि को शान्त कर और अपनी प्रजा पर विपत्ति न आने दे।

13) अपने सेवकों को, इब्राहीम, इसहाक और याकूब को याद कर। तूने शपथ खा कर उन से यह प्रतिज्ञा की है - मैं तुम्हारी संतति को स्वर्ग के तारों की तरह असंख्य बनाऊँगा और अपनी प्रतिज्ञा के अनुसार तुम्हारे वंशजों को यह समस्त देश प्रदान करूँगा और वे सदा के लिए इसके उत्तराधिकारी हो जायेगे।''

14) तब प्रभु ने अपनी प्रजा को दण्ड देने की जो धमकी दी थी, उसका विचार छोड़ दिया।

सुसमाचार : सन्त योहन 5:31-47

32) कोई दूसरा मेरे विषय में साक्ष्य देता है और मैं जानता हूँ कि वह मेरे विषय में जो साक्ष्य देता है, वह मान्य है।

33) तुम लोगों ने योहन से पुछवाया और उसने सत्य के सम्बन्ध में साक्ष्य दिया।

34) मुझे किसी मनुष्य के साक्ष्य की आवश्यकता नहीं। मैं यह इसलिए कहता हूँ कि तुम लोग मुक्ति पा सको।

35) योहन एक जलता और चमकता हुआ दीपक था। उसकी ज्योति में थोड़ी देर तक आनन्द मनाना तुम लोगों को अच्छा लगा।

36) परन्तु मुझे जो साक्ष्य प्राप्त है, वह योहन के साक्ष्य से भी महान् है। पिता ने जो कार्य मुझे पूरा करने को सौंपे हैं, जो कार्य मैं करता हूँ, वही मेरे विषय में यह साक्ष्य देते हैं कि मुझे पिता ने भेजा है।

37) पिता ने भी, जिसने मुझे भेजा, मेरे विषय में साक्ष्य दिया है। तुम लोगों ने न तो कभी उसकी वाणी सुनी और न उसका रूप ही देखा।

38) उसकी शिक्षा तुम लोगों के हृदय में घर नहीं कर सकी, क्योंकि तुम उस में विश्वास नहीं करते, जिसे उसने भेजा।

39) तुम लोग यह समझ कर धम्रग्रन्थ का अनुशीलन करते हो कि उस में तुम्हें अनन्त जीवन का मार्ग मिलेगा। वही धर्मग्रन्ध मेरे विषय में साक्ष्य देता है,

40) फिर भी तुम लोग जीवन प्राप्त करने के लिए मेरे पास आना नहीं चाहते।

41) मैं मनुष्यों की ओर से सम्मान नहीं चाहता।

42) ‘‘मैं तुम लोगों के विषय में जानता हूँ कि तुम ईश्वर से प्रेम नहीं करते।

43) मैं अपने पिता के नाम पर आया हूँ, फिर भी तुम लोग मुझे स्वीकार नहीं करतें यदि कोई अपने ही नाम पर आये, तो तुम लोग उस को स्वीकार करोगे।

44) तुम लोग एक दूसरे से सम्मान चाहते हो और वह सम्मान नहीं चाहते, जो एक मात्र ईश्वर की ओर से आता है? तो तुम लोग कैसे विश्वास कर सकते हो?

45) यह न समझो कि मैं पिता के सामने तुम लोगों पर अभियोग लगाऊँगा। तुम पर अभियोग लगाने वाले तो मूसा हैं, जिन पर तुम भरोसा रखते हो।

46) यदि तुम लोग मूसा पर विश्वास करते, तो मुझ पर भी विश्वास करते; क्योंकि उन्होंने मेरे विषय में लिखा है।

47) यदि तुम लोग उनके लेखों पर विश्वास नहीं करते, तो मेरी शिक्षा पर कैसे विश्वास करोगे?’’

📚 मनन-चिंतन

आज के सुसमाचार द्वारा हमसे यह पूछा जाता है कि प्रभु येसु में हमारा विश्वास कितना गहरा है? क्या हम येसु को मुक्तिदाता के रूप में स्वीकार करते है? क्या हम संत थोमस के समान है जिन्होंने कहा कि जब तक में उनके हाथों में कीलों का निशान न देख लॅू, कीलों की जगह पर अपनी उॅगली न रख दॅू और उनकी बग़ल में अपना हाथ न डाल दॅू, तब तक मैं विश्वास नहीं करूॅगा। या हम प्रेत्रुस के समान है जिन्होंने उत्तर दिया आप मसीह हैं, आप जीवन्त ईश्वर के पुत्र है। प्रभु हम किसके पास जायें आपके ही शब्दों में अनन्त जीवन का सन्देश है।

आज के पहला पाठ निर्गमन 32 में हम देखते है कि इस्राएली जनता ईश्वर को एकदम छोड देते है। मूसा प्रार्थना केलिए पहाड पर चढा तो लोगों ने अपने लिए ढली हुई धातु का बछडा बना कर उसे इण्डवत किया और बलि चढ़ा कर कहा, इस्राएल यही तुम्हारा देवता है। यही तुम्हें मिस्र से निकाल लाया। यानी इस्राएली जनता ईश्वर द्वारा प्रकट किया गया सारे के सारे चिन्ह और चमत्कार भूल जाते है और अन्य देवता की पूजा करती है। सुसमाचार में भी हम यही देखते है कि प्रभु येसु कई प्रकार के चिन्ह और चमत्कार प्रकट करने के बावजूद भी कुछ लोग येसु में विश्वास नहीं करते है।

हमारे जीवन में ईश्वर को प्रथम स्थान देना, उनकी आराधना करना पूजा करना सबसे मुख्य बात है। इसलिए दस आज्ञाओ में सबसे पहली आज्ञा यह है कि मैं प्रभु तुम्हारा ईश्वर हॅू। मेरी ही आराधना करना। मेरे सिवा तुम्हारा कोई ईश्वर नहीं होगा। जब हम ईश्वर पर विश्वास न करते हुए दुनिया की चीज़ों पर भरोसा करते हैं तब हम ईश्वर से अलग हो जाते है और हम अन्धकार में भटकते है। इन लोगों के बारे में संत पौलूस 2 कुरिन्थियों 4:4 में कहते है इस संसार के देवता ने अविश्वासियों का मन इतना अन्धा कर दिया है कि वे इ्रश्वर के प्रतिरूप, मसीह के महिमामय सुसमाचार की ज्योति को देखने में असमर्थ हैं। जीस प्रकार मारकुस 9:24 में अपदूत ग्रस्थ लडके के पिता ने येसु से प्रार्थना की वैसे हम भी प्रार्थना करें, प््राभु मैं विश्वास करता हॅू, मेरे अल्पविश्वास की कमी पूरी कीजिए।

📚 REFLECTION

Through the gospel of today, we are asked a question that how deed are our faith in Jesus? Do we accept Jesus as the savior? Are we like St. Thomas who said unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands, and put my finger in the mark of the nails and my hand in his side, I will not believe! Or are we like St. Peter who said to Jesus, you are the Son of God, where else can we go, you have the words of eternal life.

In today’s first reading Ex 32 we see that the Israelites forgets their God all of a sudden. Moses went to pray on the mountain at that time people of Israel took off their gold and formed it in a mold and cast an image of a calf and they said these are the gods who brought us out of the land of Egypt and they began to worship. The same people had witnessed mighty wonders and miracles that the Lord had performed in front of their eyes. Yet they forgot about that and began to worship the golden calf. The same thing we see in today’s gospel as well; that Jesus performed many miracles yet some people are not believing in Jesus.

What is the most important thing in our life is to give the first place to God and to worship him at all times. This is the most important thing; that’s why among the ten commandments the first commandment is to worship the Lord our God. There should not be any other God besides him. When we don’t give the first place for God and go after the things of the world then we get away from God and darkness enters into us. Therefore St. Paul says in 2 Cor 4:4 in their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. Let’s pray like the father of the child affected by demon, Lord I believe; help my unbelief.

9 That thou mightest say to them that are bound: Come forth: and to them that are in darkness: shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in every plain.

10 They shall not hunger, nor thirst, neither shall the heat nor the sun strike them: for he that is merciful to them, shall be their shepherd, and at the fountains of waters he shall give them drink.

19 Then Jesus answered, and said to them: Amen, amen, I say unto you, the Son cannot do any thing of himself, but what he seeth the Father doing: for what things soever he doth, these the Son also doth in like manner.

20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things which himself doth: and greater works than these will he shew him, that you may wonder.

चालीसे का चौथा सप्ताह

पहला पाठ : इसायाह 49:8-15

8) प्रभु यह कहता हैः “मैं उपयुक्त समय में तुम्हारी सुनूँगा, मैं कल्याण के दिन तुम्हारी सहायता करूँगा। मैंने तुम को सुरक्षित रखा है और अपने विधान की प्रज़ा नियुक्त किया है। मैं भूमि का उद्धार करूँगा और तुम्हें उजाड़ प्रदेशों में बसाऊँगा।

9) मैं बन्दियों से यह कहूँगा, ’मुक्त हो जाओ! और अन्धकार में रहने वालों से, ’सामने आओ’। वे मार्गों के किनारे चरेंगे और उन्हें उजाड़ स्थानों में चारा मिलेगा।

10) उन्हें फिर कभी न तो भूख लगेगी और न प्यास, उन्हें न तो लू से कष्ट होगा और न धूप से, क्योंकि जो उन्हें प्यार करता है, वह उनका पथप्रदर्शन करेगा और उन्हें उमड़ते हुए जलस्रोतों तक ले चलेगा।

11) मैं पर्वतों में रास्ता निकालूँगा और मार्गों को समतल बना दूँगा।

12) “देखो, कुछ लोग दूर से आ रहे हैं, कुछ उत्तर से, कुछ पश्चिम से और कुछ अस्सुआन देश से।“

13) आकाश जयकार करे! पृथ्वी उल्लसित हो और पर्वत आनन्द के गीत गायें! क्योंकि प्रभु अपनी प्रजा को सान्त्वना देता है और अपने दीन-हीन लोगों पर दया करता है।

14) सियोन यह कह रही थी, “प्रभु ने मुझे छोड़ दिया है। प्रभु ने मुझे भुला दिया है।“

15) “क्या स्त्री अपना दुधमुँहा बच्चा भुला सकती है? क्या वह अपनी गोद के पुत्र पर तरस नहीं खायेगी? यदि वह भुला भी दे, तो भी मैं तुम्हें कभी नहीं भुलाऊँगा।

सुसमाचार : सन्त योहन 5:17-30

17) ईसा ने उन्हें यह उत्तर दिया, ‘‘मेरा पिता अब तक काम कर रहा है और मैं भी काम कर रहा हूँ।

18) अब यहूदियों का उन्हें मार डालने का निश्चय और भी दृढ़ हो गया, क्योंकि वे न केवल विश्राम-दिवस का नियम तोड़ते थे, बल्कि ईश्वर को अपना निजी पिता कह कर ईश्वर के बराबर होने का दावा करते थे।

19) ईसा ने उन से कहा, ‘‘मैं तुम लोगों से यह कहता हूँ- पुत्र स्वयं अपने से कुछ नहीं कर सकता। वह केवल वही कर सकता है, जो पिता को करते देखता है। जो कुछ पिता करता है, वह पुत्र भी करता है;

20) क्योंकि पिता पुत्र को प्यार करता है, और वह स्वयं जो कुछ करता है, उसे पुत्र को दिखाता है। वह उसे और महान् कार्य दिखायेगा, जिन्हें देख कर तुम लोग अचम्भे में पड़ जाओगे।

21) जिस तरह पिता मृतकों को उठाता और जिलाता है, उसी तरह पुत्र भी जिसे चाहता, उसे जीवन प्रदान करता है;

22) क्योंकि पिता किसी का न्याय नहीं करता। उसने न्याय करने का पूरा अधिकार पुत्र को दे दिया है,

23) जिससे सब लोग जिस प्रकार पिता का आदर करते हैं, उसी प्रकार पुत्र का भी आदर करें। जो पुत्र का आदर नहीं करता, वह पिता का, जिसने पुत्र को भेजा, आदर नहीं करता।

24) ‘‘मैं तुम लोगों से यह कहता हूँ- जो मेरी शिक्षा सुनता और जिसने मुझे भेजा, उस में विश्वास करता है, उसे अनन्त जीवन प्राप्त है। वह दोषी नहीं ठहराया जायेगा। वह तो मृत्यु को पार कर जीवन में प्रवेश कर चुका है।

25) ‘‘मैं तुम लोगों से यह कहता हूँ- वह समय आ रहा है, आ ही गया है, जब मृतक ईश्वर के पुत्र की वाणी सुनेंगे, और जो सुनेंगे, उन्हें जीवन प्राप्त होगा।

26) जिस तरह पिता स्वयं जीवन का स्रोत है, उसी तरह उसने पुत्र को भी जीवन का स्रोत बना दिया

27) और उसे न्याय करने का भी अधिकार दिया है, क्योंकि वह मानव पुत्र है।

28) इस पर आश्चर्य न करो। वह समय आ रहा है, जब वे सब, जो कब्रों में है, उसकी वाणी सुन कर निकल आयेंगे।

29) सत्कर्मी जीवन के लिए पुनर्जीवित हो जायेंगे और कुकर्मी नरकदण्ड के लिए।

30) मैं स्वयं अपने से कुछ भी नहीं कर सकता। मैं जो सुनता, उसी के अनुसार निर्णय देता हूँ और मेरा निर्णय न्यायसंगत है; क्योंकि मैं अपनी इच्छा नहीं, बल्कि जिसने मुझे भेजा, उसकी इच्छा पूरी करना चाहता हूँ।’’

📚 मनन-चिंतन

हमारा ईश्वर एक एैसा ईश्वर है जो हमेशा काम करते रहते है। इसलीए आज के सुसमाचार योहन 5:17 में येसु कहते है कि मेरा पिता अब तक काम कर रहा है और मैं भी काम कर रहा हॅू। बईबल के शुरूवात में हम ईश्वर को काम करते हुए देखते है। ईश्वर ने छह दिन काम किया और सातवॉ दिन आराम किया। वचन कहता है कि प्रभु येसु ने भी इसी प्रकार काम किया। प्रेरित चरित 10:38 ईश्वर ने ईसा को पवित्र आत्मा और सामर्थ्य से विभूषित किया और वह चारों ओर घूम-घूम कर भलाई करते रहे और शैतान के वश में आये हुए लोगों को चंगा करते रहे, क्योकि ईश्वर उनके साथ था। येसु ने इस दुनिया में अपना काम पूरा करने के बाद अभी भी पिता ईश्वर के दाहिने बैठ कर माध्यस्त प्रार्थना करते हुए काम कर रहे है।

येसु से प्रेरणा लेते हुए प्ररितो ने भी सदा समय काम किया करते थे। संत पॉलूस कहते है 1 कुनिन्थियों 4: 12 कि वे उनके हाथों सू परिश्रम करते करते थक जाते है। 1 कुनिन्थियों 15:10 संत पौलूस कहते है कि उन्होंने बाकी लोगों से अधिक परिश्रम किया। 2 थेसलनीकियों 3:8 हमने किसी के हॉ मुफत में रोटी नहीं खायी, बल्कि हम बड़े परिश्रम से दिन रात काम करते रहे, जिससे आन लोगों में किसी के लिए भी भार न बनें। प्रेरित चरित 20:31 याद रखें कि मैं ऑसू बहा बहा कर तीन वर्षों तक दिन रात आप लोगों में हर एक को सावधान करता रहा। प्रेरित चरित 20:34-35 आप लोग जानते हैं कि मैंने अपनी और अपने साथियों की आवश्यकताएॅ पूरी करने के लिए अपने इन हाथों से काम किया। मैंने आप को दिखाया कि इस प्रकार परिश्रम करते हुए हमें दुर्बलों की सहायता करनी और प्रभु ईसा का कथन स्मरण रखना चाहिए कि लेने की अपेक्षा देना अधिक सुखद है। रोमियों 16:6 संत पॉलूस कहते है मरियम को भी नमस्कार, जिसने आप लोगों के लिए इतना कठिन परिश्रम किया। रोमियों 16:12 प्रभु की सेवा में परिश्रम कनते वाली त्रुफैना और त्रुफोसा को नमस्कार। अपनी प्रिय पेरसिस को नमसकारए जिसने प्रभु की सेवा में बहुत परिश्रम किया है। इसी प्रकार के बहुत वचन बईबल में हैं जहॉ हम देखते है कि शिष्य गणों ने काफी मेहनत की है।

2 थेसलनीकियों 3:6-8 संत पौलुस कहते है भाईयों हम आप को प्रभु ईसा मसीह के नाम पर आदेश देते हैं कि आप उन भाइयों से अलग रहे, जो काम नहीं करते है। आप लोगों को मेरा अनुकरण करना चाहिए,,,,,, हमने किसी के यहॉ मुफत में रोटी नहीं खायी, बल्कि हम बड़े परिश्रम से दिन रात काम करते रहे। और आगे संत पौलूस 2 थेसलनीकियों 3:10 कहते है कि जो काम करना नहीं चाहता, उसे भोजन नहीं दिया जाये। आईए हम हमारा आलस्य के लिए प्रभु से क्षमा मॉगे और हम भी प्रेरितो के समान काम करे। संत पौलूस का ये वचन दिल में रखें रोमियो 12:11 आप लोग अथक परिश्रम तथा आध्यात्मिक उत्साह से प्रभु की सेवा करें।

📚 REFLECTION

Our God is a God who is at work always. Therefore Jesus says in the Gospel today Jn 5:17 My Father is stilll working, and I also am working. We see God at work from the very beginning of the Bible. God created everything is six days and on the seventh day He took rest. We read about Jesus that he was also working all the time. Acts 10:38 the word of God says God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and with power and therefore Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. Jesus having completed the mission that was given to him here on earth, is now seated at the right hand of God and he is interceding. Which means even now Jesus is at work.

Having taken inspiration from Jesus, the Apostles also kept on working. 1Cor 4:12 and we grow weary from the work of our own hands. 1Cor 15:10 St. Paul claims that he worked harder than any other disciples. 2Thes 3:8 and we did not eat anyone’s bread without paying for it; but with toil and labor we worked night and day, so that we might not burden any of you. Act 20:31 therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to warn everyone with tears. Act 20:34-35 you know for yourselves that I worked with my own hands to support myself and my companions. In all this I have given you an example athat by such work we must support the weak, remembering the words of our Lord Jesus Christ for he himself said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Paul speaks of other who worked hard: Rom 16:6 greet Mary, who has worked very hard among you. Rom 16:12 Greet the beloved Persis, who has worked hard in the Lord. .

In 2Thes 3:6-8 Now we command you, beloved in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from believers who are living in idleness and not according to the tradition that they received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us; we were not idle when we were with you, and we did not eat anyone’s bread without paying for it; but with toil and labor we worked night and day, so that we might not burden any of you. 2 Thes 3:10 for even when we were with you, we gave you this command: anyone unwilling to work should not eat. Come let us ask the Lord pardon for our laziness and work like the Apostles. Keep this word of St. Paul in our hearts Rom 12:11 Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the Lord.
