आगमन का दूसरा सप्ताह
पहला पाठ: इसायाह का ग्रन्थ 48:17-19
17) प्रभु, इस्राएल का परमपावन ईश्वर, तुम्हारा उद्धारक यह कहता हैः “मैं प्रभु, तुम्हारा ईश्वर हूँ। मैं तुम्हें कल्याण की बातें बतलाता हूँ और मार्ग में तुम्हारा पथप्रदर्शन करता हूँ।
18) “यदि तुमने मेरी आज्ञाओं का पालन किया होता, तो तुम्हारी सुख-शान्ति नदी की तरह उमड़ती रहती और तुम्हारी धार्मिकता समुद्र की लहरों की तरह।
19) “तुम्हारे वंशज बालू की तरह हो गये होते, तुम्हारी सन्तति उसके कणों की तरह असंख्य हो जाती। उसका नाम कभी नहीं मिटता और मैं उसे कभी अपनी दृष्टि से दूर नहीं करता।“
सुसमाचार : सन्त मत्ती 11:16-19
16) ’’मैं इस पीढ़ी की तुलना किस से करूँ? वे बाजार में बैठे हुए छोकरों के सदृश हैं, जो अपने साथियों को पुकार कर कहते हैं-
17) हमने तुम्हारे लिए बाँसुरी बजायी और तुम नहीं नाचे, हमने विलाप किया और तुमने छाती नहीं पीटी;
18) क्योंकि योहन बपतिस्ता आया, जो न खाता और न पीता है और वे कहते हैं- उसे अपदूत लगा है।
19) मानव पुत्र आया, जो खाता-पीता है और वे कहते हैं- देखो, यह आदमी पेटू और पियक्कड़ है, नाकेदारों और पापियों का मित्र है। किन्तु ईश्वर की प्रज्ञा परिणामों द्वारा सही प्रमाणित हुई है।’’
📚 मनन-चिंतन
आज के सुसमाचार में फरीसी येसु व योहन बपतिस्ता को समझने में असफ़ल रहे। उनका दृष्टिकोण येसु व योहन के प्रति नकारात्मक था। उन्होंने येसु की शिक्षाओं को सुना उनके कार्यों को देखा। फिर भी वह येसु और योहन की आलोचना करते हैं। उन्हें पूर्णता अस्वीकार कर देते है। येसु उन्हें आनंद, शान्ति, प्रेम का संदेश देना चाहते थे। योहन उन्हें पश्चाताप का संदेश देना चाहते थे। फिर भी फरीसी संतुष्ट नहीं हुए। इस प्रकार वह येसु को नहीं पहचान सके । सत्य को नहीं जान सके पाये। *संत पौलुस कहते हैं। आप इस संसार के अनुकूल न बने, बल्कि सब कुछ नयी दृष्टि से देखे और अपना स्वाभाव बदल ले।" ( रोमियों 12:2)
आइये हम भी अपनी नकारत्मक दृष्टिकोण को बदले और येसु की इच्छाओं को स्वीकार करे।
📚 REFLECTION
In today’s Gospel the Pharisees failed to understand Jesus and John the Baptist. Their perception about Jesus and John was totally negative. They heard the teachings of Jesus and saw the miracle of Jesus yet failed to accept Him because of their negative perception about Jesus and John. John the Baptist preached the message of repentance but the Pharisees were not satisfied with the preaching of John the Baptist. Whereas Jesus brought the message of love Joy and peace but they criticized both of them and refused to accept Jesus and John. As a result they failed to recognize Jesus.
St. Paul says in (Rom 12:2) “Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God – what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Let us not be like Pharisees rather strive to change our negative perception about others and accept the will of God in our lives.
मनन-चिंतन - 2
आज के सुसमाचार में प्रभु येसु अपने समय के लोगों के दृष्टिकोण पर सवाल उठाते हैं। उन्होंने उन्हें हर चीज से असंतुष्ट पाया। उस समय के लोगों ने संत योहन बपतिस्ता को ’अपदूतग्रस्त’ कह कर उनका अस्वीकार किया। उन्होंने संत योहन के तपस्या के जीवन और पश्चाताप के सन्देश को स्वीकार नहीं किया। और न ही वे प्रभु येसु की जीवन-शैली और उनके सुसमाचार को स्वीकार करने के लिए तैयार थे। समस्या न तो योहन बपतिस्ता की थी और न ही येसु की। समस्या उन लोगों के दृष्टिकोण में थी। वे अपने दृष्टिकोण में निराशावादी थे और हर किसी और हर चीज से असंतुष्ट थे। येसु ने उनकी तुलना बाजार के अपरिपक्व बच्चों से की। विश्वासियों को हर जगह अच्छाई की सराहना करने और स्वीकार करने के लिए विकसित होना है। रचनात्मक और निर्माणकारी आलोचना व्यक्तियों और उद्यमों की वृद्धि के लिए अच्छी है। विनाशकारी और निराशावादी आलोचना किसी की मदद नहीं करेगी। यह उस शैतान का काम है जो हर जगह असंतोष और विभाजन पैदा करता है। ईश्वर आनन्द और एकता लाते हैं।
REFLECTION
In today’s Gospel Jesus questions the attitudes of the people of his time. He found them dissatisfied with everything. They did not accept John the Baptist labelling him as ‘possessed’. They did not accept his life of austerity and his teaching of repentance. Nor were they ready to accept Jesus with his sociable life-style and his good tidings. The problem was neither with John the Baptist nor with Jesus. The problem was in their outlook. They were pessimistic in their approach and dissatisfied with everyone and everything. Jesus compared them with immature children in the market place. Believers have to grow to appreciate and accept goodness everywhere. Constructive and creative criticism is good for the growth of persons and enterprises. Destructive and pessimistic criticism will not help anyone. It is the devil who sows seeds of dissatisfaction and divisiveness. God brings contentment and unity.
