First Reading: Ephesians 6:10-20

10 Finally, brethren, be strengthened in the Lord, and in the might of his power.

11 Put you on the armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil.

12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places.

13 Therefore take unto you the armour of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and to stand in all things perfect.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of justice,

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace:

16 In all things taking the shield of faith, wherewith you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one.

17 And take unto you the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit (which is the word of God).

18 By all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the spirit; and in the same watching with all instance and supplication for all the saints:

19 And for me, that speech may be given me, that I may open my mouth with confidence, to make known the mystery of the gospel.

20 For which I am an ambassador in a chain, so that therein I may be bold to speak according as I ought.

Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 144: 1b, 2, 9-10

1 Blessed be the Lord my God, who teacheth my hands to fight, and my fingers to war.

2 My mercy, and my refuge: my support, and my deliverer: My protector, and I have hoped in him: who subdueth my people under me.

9 To thee, O God, I will sing a new canticle: on the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings I will sing praises to thee.

10 Who givest salvation to kings: who hast redeemed thy servant David from the malicious sword:

Gospel: Luke 13: 31-35

31 The same day, there came some of the Pharisees, saying to him: Depart, and get thee hence, for Herod hath a mind to kill thee.

32 And he said to them: Go and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and do cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I am consummated.

33 Nevertheless I must walk today and tomorrow, and the day following, because it cannot be that a prophet perish, out of Jerusalem.

34 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent to thee, how often would I have gathered thy children as the bird doth her brood under her wings, and thou wouldest not?

35 Behold your house shall be left to you desolate. And I say to you, that you shall not see me till the time come, when you shall say: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

वर्ष का तीसवाँ सामान्य सप्ताह, गुरुवार

📒 पहला पाठ एफ़ेसियों के नाम सन्त पौलुस का पत्र 6:10-20

10) अन्त में यह-आप लोग प्रभु से और उसके अपार सामर्थ्य से बल ग्रहण करें,

11) आप ईश्वर के अस्त्र-शस्त्र धारण करें, जिससे आप शैतान की धूर्तता का सामना करने में समर्थ हों;

12) क्योंकि हमें निरे मनुष्यों से नहीं, बल्कि इस अन्धकारमय संसार के अधिपतियों, अधिकारियों तथा शासकों और आकाश के दुष्ट आत्माओं से संघर्ष करना पड़ता है।

13) इसलिए आप ईश्वर के अस्त्र-शस्त्र धारण करें, जिससे आप दुर्दिन में शत्रु का सामना करने में समर्थ हों और अन्त तक अपना कर्तव्य पूरा कर विजय प्राप्त करें।

14) आप सत्य का कमरबन्द कस कर, धार्मिकता का कवच धारण कर

15) और शान्ति-सुसमाचार के उत्साह के जूते पहन कर खड़े हों।

16) साथ ही विश्वास की ढाल धारण किये रहें। उस से आप दुष्ट के सब अग्निमय बाण बुझा सकेंगे।

17) इसके अतिरिक्त मुक्ति का टोप पहन लें और आत्मा की तलवार-अर्थात् ईश्वर का वचन-ग्रहण करें।

18) आप लोग हर समय आत्मा में सब प्रकार की प्रार्थना तथा निवेदन करते रहें। आप लोग जागते रहें और सब सन्तों के लिए निरन्तर विनती करते रहें।

19) आप मेरे लिए भी विनती करें, जिससे बोलते समय मुझे शब्द दिये जायें और मैं निर्भीकता से उस सुसमाचार का रहस्य घोषित कर सकूँ,

20) जिस सुसमाचार का मैं बेडि़यों से बँधा हुआ राजदूत हूँ। आप विनती करें, जिससे मैं निर्भीकता से सुसमाचार का प्रचार कर सकूँ, जैसा कि मेरा कर्तव्य है।

📙 सुसमाचार : सन्त लूकस 13:31-35

31) उसी समय कुछ फ़रीसियों ने आ कर उन से कहा, "विदा लीजिए और यहाँ से चले जाइए, क्योंकि हेरोद आप को मार डालना चाहता है"।

32) ईसा ने उन से कहा, "जा कर उस लोमड़ी से कहो-मैं आज और कल नरकदूतों को निकालता और रोगियों को चंगा करता हूँ और तीसरे दिन मेरा कार्य समापन तक पहुँचा दिया जायेगा।

33) आज, कल और परसों मुझे यात्रा करनी है, क्योंकि यह हो नहीं सकता कि कोई नबी येरूसालेम के बाहर मरे।

34) “येरूसालेम! येरूसालेम! तू नबियों की हत्या करता और अपने पास भेजे हुए लोगों को पत्थरों से मार देता है। मैंने कितनी बार चाहा कि तेरी सन्तान को एकत्र कर लूँ, जैसे मुर्गी अपने चूज़ों को अपने डैनों के नीचे एकत्र कर लेती है, परन्तु तुम लोगों ने इनकार कर दिया।

35) देखो, तुम्हारा घर उजाड़ छोड़ दिया जायेगा। मैं तुम से कहता हूँ, तुम मुझे तब तक नहीं देखोगे, जब तक तुम यह न कहोगे, ’धन्य हैं वह, जो प्रभु के नाम पर आते हैं’!“

📚 मनन-चिंतन

आज का पहला पाठ जो संत पौलुस का एफेसियों के नाम पत्र से लिया गया है, आध्यात्मिक सुरक्षा और संरक्षण के बारे में बोलता है। हम सभी को सुरक्षा की जरूरत है, खासकर हमारे दुश्मनों से बचे रहने के लिए। हमारा सामर्थ्य और शक्ति पर्याप्त नहीं है; हमें प्रभु की शक्ति और संरक्षण में मजबूत होने की जरूरत है। जीवन की बुराईयों का सामना करने और अपने जीवन में बने रहने के लिए यह बहुत आवश्यक है। मानव और सांसारिक शक्ति, रणनीति और हथियार पर्याप्त और विश्वसनीय नहीं हैं; दिव्य कवच ही सुनिश्चित सुरक्षा है। संत पौलुस हमें कहता है कि हमें सच्चाई, धार्मिकता, सुसमाचार का उत्साह, विश्वास, मुक्ति और परमेश्वर के वचन को धारण करना चाहिए जिससे हम शत्रु का सामना करने में समर्थ हो जाएँ। इन आध्यात्मिक शास्त्रों से लैस व्यक्ति कभी पराजित नहीं हो सकता।

आज का अनुवाक्य इस बात पर ज़ोर देता है, "धन्य है प्रभु, मेरी चट्टान"। जो कोई भी प्रभु पर भरोसा करता है, वह उसकी सुरक्षा का अनुभव करेगा।

आज का सुसमाचार येसु के साहस और आत्मविश्वास को प्रदर्शित करता है और विरोध के बावजूद सुसमाचार का प्रचार करने की उसकी इच्छा को दर्शाता है।

क्या तुम अपने दुश्मनों से डरते हो? क्या तुम अक्सर अपने संघर्षों में असफल रहते हो ? क्या तूम अपनी ताकत पर भरोसा करते हो और प्रभु पर नहीं? ईश्वर और उसके कवच धारण करो!

📚 REFLECTION

Today’s first reading from the letter of St. Paul to the Ephesians speaks about spiritual protection. We all need protection, especially from our enemies. Our strength is not good enough, we need to grow strong in the Lord, with the strength of his power. This is needed to resist the worst and to stand your ground. Human and worldly power, tactics and weapons are not sure enough; divine armour is sure protection. St. Paul enumerates the divine weapons of truth, integrity, eagerness to spread the gospel, faith and the word of God. Equipped with these one can never fail.

The responsorial psalm of today emphasizes this, “Blessed be the Lord, my rock”. Anyone who trusts in the Lord will experience his protection.

The gospel demonstrates the courage and confidence of Jesus and his desire to preach the gospel in spite of the opposition and threats to his life. His courage and strength came from the love of his Father.

Are we afraid of our enemies? Do we fail often in our struggles? Could it be because we rely on our strength and not on the Lord? Put on the Lord and his armour!

* रहो पर चलते चलते अगर तुम थक  जाओ तो अपनी मंजिल याद करो । काम करते करते अगर तुम उब जाओ तो अपनी कर्तव्य याद करो । पूजा करते करते अगर तुम रुक जाओ तो अपनी याद कती । पढ़ाई करते करते अगर तुम बोर हो जाओ तो अपना लक्ष्य याद करो। हिम्मती कार्यों से अगर तुम डर जाओ तो अपनी आत्मा की पुकार सुनो सोते-सोते अगर तुम थक जाओ तो नहीं सुबह की याद करो । अपनी  गलती से अगर तुम डर जाओ तो सुधारने का प्रयास करो। 

* गम में भी खुशियां का एहसास किया जाता है चक्र दुख सुख का है विश्वास किया जाता है । अगर हसरत बनी हुई है दिल में जीने की जिंदगी गम में भी हंसकर ही किया जाता है बनाना दुनिया में पहचान कठिन होता है हर जगह पाना समान कठिन होता है भाग्य विपरीत अगर है तुम्हारे तब देखो जिंदगी का यह इत्महान कठिन होता है । 

🤔प्यार ही था जिसने हमें बनाया और प्यार ही था । जिसने हमें बचाया हम सब पर ईश्वर से ही देखता है ईश्वर का दिव्य सभाव ही प्यार है क्योंकि ईश्वर प्रेम है
